Is your child struggling in school? Maybe the grades haven't started to plummet and there might be no big red flags yet, but you've noticed an overall shift, especially when it comes to science subjects.
Parents look for local Airds physics tutors for help, but most are usually not sure what kind of support their child needs.
That's where we come in.
Physics is a tricky subject. It's one thing to understand a concept, but problems become impossibly complex pretty quickly. With difficult worded questions, for instance, it's not just about knowing the formulas, it's a whole leap in thinking as well.
Getting regular tutoring is a great way for students to really cement what they've quickly gone over in school. In order to excel at physics, students need to be able to navigate through details, but also analyse ideas in an appropriate way. With someone who's done it before by their side, it definitely feels less overwhelming.
The right tutor makes it easier to connect each individual dot and make the necessary leap to scientific thinking. We can match you with the right physics tutor in Airds within a day or two. All we need is to have a quick chat to figure out what kind of support your child needs.
The first lesson comes as a free trial with a money-back guarantee and we charge a simple hourly rate, no other fees. As simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
I taught Haley strategies to memorizing multiplication tables by getting her to repeat the tables with problems which challenged this and would ensure they remember them. I also taught her to be more confident in herself while working and checking her own work so she does not rely on the confirmation of her teachers.
Phoebe comes to the sessions with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Phoebe has been working hard on her maths this year and I have seen a definite improvement. Phoebe has been setting out her work really well and always has her maths book.
Nerys was grasping trigonometry quickly so we were able to get an early start on linear relationships. This seems to be much harder for her and a lot of ideas need to be gone over several times, but towards the end of the month, she has developed a better conceptual understanding of the rules, which will facilitate knowledge retention. Nerys has not yet made the connection between fractions and division e.g. '1 divided by 2' and '1/2'.
Josh has got off to a good start with Owen. He is always much happier once he has had an hour with Owen going through his Math. We see it is helping Josh with his confidence. At this point, thumbs up and wish we had done this a year ago...hindsight is a gift.
Very happy with the way it is going thanks Gene. Benedict is a good tutor and Saf and I are both happy with her progress.
All going well. Aisling has connected well with Anthony and he feels that the tutoring is helping.
