Learning Chemistry feels like learning a new language. It's hard in the beginning, you don't know what to look out for and even though you recognise things here and there that doesn't mean you can read a formula, let alone understand it. It's one of those subjects where it clicks or it just doesn't. Tutors we work with understand that. They've been there, they had to overcome the same hurdle and they are passionate about helping...
They've been there, they had to overcome the same hurdle and they are passionate about helping others do the same. They know the pitfalls, where to spend that extra hour and what you need to memorise before you can completely understand a concept.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Vas has been much better in terms of double checking his answers and considering each steps of the working-out process. This has yet to follow suit in terms of his homework though, where there are still many grammatical and punctuational errors in his English writing. His growing confidence in the multiplication table is assisting in his catching up in other areas of maths.
Jack has a positive attitude during lessons and approaches all tasks with high enthusiasm Jack provides a solid effort in the 1 hour span of our lesson and gives his full attention. Jack has kept notes well organised and has them on had every week. As well as providing his school homework for help.
Ewan doesn't have many gaps in his knowledge, it's more that he doesn't completely understand every topic in its entirety, and that comes down to practice. Ewan's main focus simply needs to be practice. If he practices, we'll be able to progress better and waste less time on going over problems. It's not the method/steps, it's just being able to see a problem and isolate where you have to start, and we can do it together but he has to know how to do it himself.
We are very happy with the tutoring services we are receiving through your company and my daughters tutor, Alfred. Alfred has been very flexible in fitting in with Jayda's schedule and learning needs and we foresee a lengthy tutoring relationship.
Dania our tutor is a blessing! My daughter is able to open up to Dania and has managed to engage conversations/ relationship/ trust and so just after a few lessons she's now able to have a better understanding of maths concepts where as before she was really struggling to comprehend it. Although my daughter still has much more to learn I'm confident that Dania will be able to take her to the next level.
We had our 1st session tonight with David and it went really well. My son connected with him immediately even though he was nervous about tutoring and didn't really want to do it prior to tonight. After he had his session with David he said it was fun! I was pleasantly surprised to hear him say that and he asked that David come back next week instead of waiting a fortnight! We are very happy so far.
