Students reach the next level when they work with someone who understands their needs, who’s available and honestly cares about their goal. That kind of support goes a long way, especially with chemistry, as it tends to be elusive and hard to master.
In most cases, that kind of help isn't available at school. Teachers already have a full classroom to manage and are generally swamped with tasks. Maybe you've already thought of finding a local Ambarvale chemistry tutor for your child, but you didn't know where to start and what to look out for.
We can help.
This is what we do. We organise one-on-one tutoring in your home, at a time that's most convenient for you. You choose what the tutor covers and how often they come. Not quite sure what your child needs to learn? No need to worry, we'll figure it out.
We charge a simple hourly fee and last but not least, in case you don't like the first lesson - we consider it a trial and match you with another Ambarvale chemistry tutor.
We've seen it time and time again, all it takes for a student to start trying again is that one aha moment.
The right tutor can get your child there.
Give it a try!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Marika has been making really good progress in a lot of areas here. I have been noticing that she is a lot happier just trying a method (even though she isn't confident that it will work), and persistent in trying another if it fails. She is also leaving incorrect or failed attempts recorded (which is constructive as we can see how her strategies are improving). Her problem solving and reading of questions is also improving, and I am excited to see her keep this up.
Positive attitude towards learning, however may seem a bit tired towards the end of the lesson Strong effort to learn Has not been completing homework regularly, however works hard during lessons
Some more revision is required for the graphing unit. Try to differentiate between all the different kinds of graphs: parabolas, cubics, exponentials, hyperbolas; as well as properties like which ones are increasing and decreasing. Problem solving skills for more difficult questions has improved with confidence. But continue to try more varied and difficult HSC, or even past trial, papers to keep improving this.
Jaz and Emily seem to be connecting well and we are happy with how things are progressing to date.
John has been an amazing tutor for my son. John restored my son's confidence in his ability to do maths and prepared him for Year 12 exams.I cannot recommend his work highly enough, as he did everything we asked of him and more.
Lauren seems to be going well and most importantly is engaging with Steph and feeling better about Maths in general. We are very happy with Steph so far. She is a lovely girl who is always punctual and the communication between us is excellent. And I think Lauren looks forward to her sessions with Steph, which can only be a positive!
