Most students approach learning biology like any other subject. They know the basics, what to do and what to avoid, and truth be told, in most cases it's enough to pass the tests. Most students approach learning biology like any other subject. They know the basics, what to do and what to avoid, and truth be told, in most cases it's enough to pass the tests.
Science subjects, and especially biology, can be tricky though. More often than not, students will need a push - just a little bit of guidance to get the most out of their learning.
We work with many Balhannah biology tutors and most have a story or two about student hiccups. Sometimes it's silly mistakes and other times just a lack of consistency - simple details that could have saved them time and energy. Never skip your lab notes! tutors find themselves reminding students over and over. Yet most tend to forget them.
Tutors we work with are there to help out with homework, revising, getting ahead or solving advanced problems - whatever your child needs. And they are available within a day or two. All we need to get things started is to have a chat with you.
We figure out what kind of support your child needs and organise one-on-one biology tutoring in Balhannah. On top of that, we keep things simple and convenient. There are no extra fees or hidden charges, just a simple hourly rate.
Last but not least, to make sure you and your child really like the tutor - the first lesson comes as a free trial and with a money-back guarantee.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Sydney progressed throughout the time at tutoring at asking questions when necessary and talking about the strategies that he was using / what he was thinking, and we had a strong dynamic in this area in which we were able to communicate effectively. Throughout our sessions he gained confidence and learned to think about things at a higher level in order to apply theories in new ways.
We always have a cheerful tutoring session. Oscar is happy when we could complete his homework. I am not sure if last week was busy for him but it would have helped if he could do some revision. Oscar said he did not have time for revision last week due to sickness. However, I hope he understands that without revision, it is very hard to achieve good score in Maths. I have been encouraging him by writing reminder notes to please revise but with no avail.
Whilst some of the graphs introduced in year ten require revision, Jordana has a strong grasp of most of the assumed knowledge for units 1/2 methods. We will revise those more challenging graphs (eg. square roots, exponential, logs, etc.) together, but they will also be addressed thoroughly in class, so it is not at all a worry!
I am very pleased with Gabrielle and so is Thomas, so a great start. Just having a mentor has boasted Thomas's confidence enormously and I listen to how Gabrielle communicates with Thomas and I am amazed. Thomas is very happy.
I had one tutoring session with Tom and he was fantastic. Very easy to talk to and had clearly prepared before coming to see me. The exam that I needed his help to prepare for is this Thursday so I no longer need his services. I have told Tom I will let him know how I went after the exam on Thursday.
We are very happy with Shunan as Antony and Bella's tutor. He is doing a wonderful job. Thank you!
