Students reach the next level when they work with someone who understands their needs, who’s available and honestly cares about their goal. That kind of support goes a long way, especially with chemistry, as it tends to be elusive and hard to master.
In most cases, that kind of help isn't available at school. Teachers already have a full classroom to manage and are generally swamped with tasks. Maybe you've already thought of finding a local Beacon Hill chemistry tutor for your child, but you didn't know where to start and what to look out for.
We can help.
This is what we do. We organise one-on-one tutoring in your home, at a time that's most convenient for you. You choose what the tutor covers and how often they come. Not quite sure what your child needs to learn? No need to worry, we'll figure it out.
We charge a simple hourly fee and last but not least, in case you don't like the first lesson - we consider it a trial and match you with another Beacon Hill chemistry tutor.
We've seen it time and time again, all it takes for a student to start trying again is that one aha moment.
The right tutor can get your child there.
Give it a try!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Joshua's use of the learning strategies is slowly improving as he is beginning to gain a greater understanding of the content covered. The most improved strategies are pen to paper and his overall speed, where Joshua is now starting to show working and is able to reap the speed benefits of following this strategy.
The student lacks of care and preciseness during the problem solving. This gap is slowly filled up in recent sessions. She has the hobbit to use the calculator, that is not bad but will prevent her in logic thinking, even in simple ratio. She also show effort in applying the concept in exercise, although it is still at simple or similar questions, more practice at home is expected for complex questions.
We have started the topic of differentiation. It looks like Aryan is having little problems in understanding this concept. However like stated before, it would be better for Aryan to concentrate a bit more on his working out processes whilst solving problems.
I met Angeline for the first time on Monday this week- She is bright and seems to have lots of resources and experience already.
We are very happy with the lovely Sarah and more importantly, Annie is enjoying her time with her.
We are very happy with Simon. Ryan has taken to the tutoring really well. One on one has really helped as he cannot get distracted by other kids and Simon keeps him on his toes and listening attentively.
