We've found that students often need both help with the content and guidance with study strategies in general. High school biology gives students a glimpse of a vast interconnected universe of life on Earth. It can be quite exciting, and in most cases, it's why students choose the subject in the first place. However, as tasks start to pile up, students tend to get overwhelmed.
With so much on their plate, they tend to fall back on simple, but also extremely limited study strategies. It might seem like a no-brainer - memorisation won't take you far, but that's exactly what students fall back on when they get lost.
When that happens, finding someone to guide them can make or break the school year, and that's exactly where we can help.
What we do is match you with a biology tutor in Beaconsfield within a day or two. All we need to get things started is to have a chat with you.
We figure out what kind of support your child needs and organise a one-on-one lesson at your home. There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate, and the first lesson comes with a money-back guarantee.
We can start looking for the right biology tutor right now.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Working backwards has been a strategy that Michaela has been employing frequently when working through the solutions to the past paper questions, and I have encouraged this too. She could spend a little more time on her corrections in these instances. Her problem-solving skills are improving as she continues to attempts the more challenging past paper questions.
The student's attitude towards learning is 10/10, and he's really putting in a lot of effort on and off tutoring which I'm really happy to see. His work habit is quite consistent, as he pays attention to what I say and do what I tell him to do.
Athan seems to have a lack of understanding of parallel/perpendicular lines. He also needs to work on writing down his answers neater. He tends to be quite aggressive when writing his answers and writes them very large, leading to them being illegible or way too big for the space provided. He could also use some more work on doing mental multiplication.
The ezymaths company was professional to deal with, our tutor was punctual and very knowledgeable and generally a very nice person. Our tutor identified by the second lesson the areas my daughter needed to focus on and from this time she has been addressing these areas. My daughter enjoys her tutoring sessions now.
Anishaa and I have been very happy with Luke's teaching methods. He makes it interesting and helps her in areas that she needs assistance in. Luke has a good knowledge and is doing a fantastic job with Anishaa. Thank you for the help you have given with an excellent tutor.
Everything is great so far. Danica actually likes having a tutor. She was not keen on the idea at first but now she loves it and Lewis is great.
