Year 11 and 12 Chemistry can be intimidating. Students need to learn heaps of content, be able to recognize reactions and analyse chemical systems. The number of concepts students need to master is overwhelming, and the workload only adds up as they move up the curriculum. If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.

If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.
Tutors we work with know that. They've been there. Being approached by a mentor rather than a teacher makes it easier for students to develop an appreciation for chemistry. That's what it comes down to - someone making sure your child doesn't give up.
For some students it's just passing a test, for others it's getting through WACE with flying colours, maybe even preparing for a career in STEM. Whatever the goal, we are there to support your child through it all.
So what's the next step?
Give us a call and we will organise a chemistry tutor in Belhus to come to your home for one-on-one tutoring, at a time that works for you and your child.
We allocate local Belhus chemistry tutors so scheduling is never an issue. Changed your mind or need to postpone the lesson? No worries, there are no cancellation costs.
On top of that, the first lesson is a trial so if you don't like the tutor we'll find someone else who is better suited.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Sophie is really good at talking aloud in maths, and saying whatever pops into her mind. This is a good skill to have as it ensures she is actively thinking as soon she sees a new question. She also asks herself questions to affirm her thinking. Sophie now has a very good understanding of angle geometry, which has come from her self confidence and telling herself that it's a subject she finds 'easy'.
Priscilla has maintained her great attitude towards her school work and our tutoring lessons which is to be commended. Her work habits are also to be commended as she continues to complete all of her work on time, keep up to date study notes and begin assignments well in advance.
For Amber, her biggest challenge is performing under test conditions. When in tests she struggles to remember and apply key concepts despite having the knowledge and capability. We have been working on this, and have seen some improvement, However she is easily thrown if the questions are differently presented to in the test compared to what was seen previously.
Alice had been getting poor marks in maths, despite doing well in other subjects. Neb and Amy effectively identified issues with the way she approached maths problems ie not stepping through problems sufficiently, and helped her overcome these. Alice's marks and attitude to maths have improved greatly as a result. As she has improved, she has become more confident and willing to do the homework and study to do even better. It has been a positive experience all round and I would not hesitate to recommend Ezy Maths Tutoring.
My husband and I have been very satisfied with the service we received from Ezy Maths. We were very quickly appointed a tutor for our 9 year old Daughter and were extremely happy with David who quickly developed an excellent rapport with our Daughter. She very much enjoyed David's style of teaching and her confidence and knowledge in Maths have increased exponentially. We would thoroughly recommend your service.
EzyMath is great for the busy working family as the tutors come to your place at an agreed time to suit the family. The rate is very competitive and the written reports are a valuable source of information on a student's progress. The tutor was conscientious and went out of her way to obtain appropriate resources for our son. She was reliable and flexible and made our son feel at ease and more confident with his studies.
