Chemistry is just one of those subjects, it either clicks or it doesn't. Many students find maths and physics easy, but when it comes to chemistry they just feel lost.
And it's understandable. It can be challenging to connect the concepts to real-life, see how it all relates to their day-to-day. When they're struggling, students tend to give up easily and at some point, they stop trying altogether.
If your child doesn't catch on right away, or maybe they consider chemistry a complete waste of time, it can be hard to convince them otherwise. What we've found is that students react better when it comes from someone who they can relate to.
They react to mentors, someone closer to their age, who shares the same experience. That's why tutors are in a unique position to help a student grow.
That's why great tutoring can make such a big difference.
Want to find out how? We can allocate a local Bell Park chemistry tutor within a day or two. They reach out to you and set up a first lesson whenever you and your child can make it.
If you like the tutor's approach you keep working with them. If you are not 100% satisfied - we consider it a trial lesson and find a better match. It's that simple!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Ben talks his way through his questions well but must focus on getting his thoughts on paper. When thinking about problems he could make his life easier by putting what he knows on paper and then working out what he needs rather than trying to think everything through before acting.
Alex wants to skip through questions quickly, however from what I have seen, when he actually sets his mind to it and isn't getting distracted or trying to proscrstinate can usually get the correct answer slowly. He has a habit of jumping to random answers to conclude when I can tell he is getting frustrated with a problem, however when he takes his time he usually presents the right answer (for past few sessions)
Fractions are a new area of study, the'building block' sized fraction kit is an excellent tool for visualising the comparison of fractions; for example, it is not immediately obvious that larger numbers on the bottom of a fraction mean a'smaller number'. However, Katie is progressing rapidly in identifying similar groups fractions (e.g. 1/3, 1/6, 1/12 but not 1/5)
Everything is going well. Lizzy and I are very happy with Michael and pleased with her results so far.
We really like Syed and Lucy is working well with him. Her confidence is starting to grow with her times tables which is great to see.
I was very happy with the staff at your head office. My my initial contact person was Marcus, and he was extremely professional and thorough in explaining the services EZY MATHS provide and he reassured me of the the level of tutoring that the company provides and that they will endeavour to match a tutor for my 15 year olds math's concerns. The thing I liked the most is that at no time did I feel pressured and he made it sound so easy; Which it was. Thank you, and I will be using you guys again when the time arises.
