We've found that students often need both help with the content and guidance with study strategies in general. High school biology gives students a glimpse of a vast interconnected universe of life on Earth. It can be quite exciting, and in most cases, it's why students choose the subject in the first place. However, as tasks start to pile up, students tend to get overwhelmed.
With so much on their plate, they tend to fall back on simple, but also extremely limited study strategies. It might seem like a no-brainer - memorisation won't take you far, but that's exactly what students fall back on when they get lost.
When that happens, finding someone to guide them can make or break the school year, and that's exactly where we can help.
What we do is match you with a biology tutor in Bellfield within a day or two. All we need to get things started is to have a chat with you.
We figure out what kind of support your child needs and organise a one-on-one lesson at your home. There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate, and the first lesson comes with a money-back guarantee.
We can start looking for the right biology tutor right now.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Maiee has shown herself to be quite intelligent and studious. She has decent format and planning skills and does seek further understanding. Her confidence could use some improvement as well as some additional learning strategies such as talking aloud and self checking.
Taylah has been lacking some concentration in lessons often because she is tired. Taylah has shown commitment to learning by participating in lessons even when she was feeling sick. Taylah has started her latest English assignment early which is good to see. She has also read the book ahead of the class so she is able to re-read sections to get a good understanding of the book. I hope that she keeps this up for the rest of the school term.
Harrison had showed that he does not having any problems with the studying of the subject, through the assessment results. Therefore, I do not believe there are any gaps of him. Little more effort and concentration could make him perfect. As I always say, extra practice could also bring better result. But other that this, I have nothing to say on this matter.
It is a great pleasure for us too, to see Vas enjoying his lessons, and trying his utmost hardest to listen and catch up. This is all due to Jake too, he is a very big favourite to Vas, he loves his lessons with him, as he explains everything they are doing till Vas understands.
Things are going great - James got over 90% in a recent test, and said it felt easy because he understood it. That's what I want to hear.
James has got off to a good start-in his first test this week, he got 91% in his specialist exam. Matthew is able to work through all the challenging questions with James and ensure that he understands the theory behind the maths. I definitely feel that James has commenced Semester 2 with a more positive approach to Specialist Maths and I look forward to seeing improved results.
