That's where we come in!
We've found that students who are struggling need someone who will support their progress and make it easier to get the grades. They also need to be motivated and taught how to overcome issues, how to learn from each failure. Tutors we work with know that.
So, this is how it works.
We find local tutors and organise one-on-one physics tutoring in Blackstone, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate.
You don't like the tutor? No worries, it happens from time to time and we understand that! That's why the first lesson comes as a free trial.

Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Jas has improved in her format skills, she is know setting out her work clearly. She is too hard on herself when she gets a question wrong and needs to build her confidence, she will often answer correctly the first time, but then doubts herself. This is something we are working on
Tara is polite and are willing to ask lots of questions. This component is not assessed since the nature of the lesson is for me to assist her with school work. However, I can tell that Tara is eager to learn. Tara has small hand writing which can be a disadvantage when it comes to assessments, but Tara is neat with her working out.
Ashleigh is keeping up with well with the current work, but she not quite familiar enough with the 9 by 9 times table. I am practicing with her to help her familiarize as fast as possible. Ashleigh understands the new concepts very well, it's only things from primary school such as times table she's slightly cumbersome on. All the new content she was introduced this year, she did not have too much trouble understanding it.
Sarah is finding the tutoring with Shabana very helpful. Sarah has has three tutoring sessions and Shabana has been explaining concepts or questions which Sarah found confusing. I really like the way Shabana interacts with Sarah and how she keeps reminding her about the importance of practising.
