What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy helping others learn and find it rewarding when I can explain a difficult idea in a way that makes sense. While I haven’t tutored before, I often help classmates in maths, English, chemistry, and physics. I’m keen to start tutoring because it gives me the chance to share my knowledge, support others to build confidence, and strengthen my own communication skills.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor include strong academic performance in maths, English, chemistry, and physics, as well as the ability to explain complex ideas in simple, step-by-step ways. I am patient and supportive, and I enjoy helping others build confidence in their learning. As a current student, I can relate to the challenges of schoolwork, and I am reliable, organised, and committed to providing a positive learning experience.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important things a tutor can do are to explain concepts clearly, adapt to each student’s learning style, and provide encouragement that builds confidence. A good tutor should be patient and supportive, helping students feel comfortable asking questions while also guiding them to think independently. Tutoring is not just about improving grades but also about motivating students and showing them that learning can be enjoyable and rewarding.

About Lilly
Get to Know Me!
Hi, I’m Lilly! I’m currently in Year 12, studying Specialist Maths, Maths Methods, Chemistry, Physics, and English, and I’m on track for an ATAR above 90. I’ve had the privilege of attending the QMEA Oresome Minds Camp and the EarthWatch Protecting the Reef Camp, and I was a finalist for the Exceptional Female QMEA Student of the Year award.
I’m passionate about tutoring because I love helping others feel more confident in their learning. My style is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student—whether you’re preparing for exams, catching up on classwork, or aiming to get ahead. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple, clear steps so that learning feels manageable and rewarding.
In the future, I hope to study Environmental Engineering at university. Outside of academics, I enjoy exploring science and problem-solving, and I’m excited to share that enthusiasm with my students!
