Is your child struggling in school? Maybe the grades haven't started to plummet and there might be no big red flags yet, but you've noticed an overall shift, especially when it comes to science subjects.
Parents look for local Brigadoon physics tutors for help, but most are usually not sure what kind of support their child needs.
That's where we come in.
Physics is a tricky subject. It's one thing to understand a concept, but problems become impossibly complex pretty quickly. With difficult worded questions, for instance, it's not just about knowing the formulas, it's a whole leap in thinking as well.
Getting regular tutoring is a great way for students to really cement what they've quickly gone over in school. In order to excel at physics, students need to be able to navigate through details, but also analyse ideas in an appropriate way. With someone who's done it before by their side, it definitely feels less overwhelming.
The right tutor makes it easier to connect each individual dot and make the necessary leap to scientific thinking. We can match you with the right physics tutor in Brigadoon within a day or two. All we need is to have a quick chat to figure out what kind of support your child needs.
The first lesson comes as a free trial with a money-back guarantee and we charge a simple hourly rate, no other fees. As simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
One of the problems Keelan has outlined is that he doesn't get enough opportunities to express his own ideas and understandings of the relevant concepts at school. In order to address, I encouraged him to walk through the key relationships and concepts himself, before correcting him with the right method and knowledge.
Luke is still not doing enough homework. I have tried different methods to try and get him motivated and at the moment we are working on goal setting. Hopefully this motivates him to put more effort in, however with our lessons being quite sporadic lately, I don't know if he is doing any better.
Good at fractions, however he needs to u derstand when to use them and in which situations they apply. Nick does struggle with Algebra, however he is fairly new to the concept. More practice in Algebra would be beneficial
James is doing fine in college maths class now, he is understanding what is going down in class which is a new experience for him - thank you.
Daniel got his marks back for his final exams in Mathematics. There has been a dramatic improvement in his results. Thank you. He is going to do 4 unit maths in year 12.
Jessica is doing well with Zac. Jessica is very pleasant and easy going and Zac enjoys the lessons with her.
