Chemistry can seem a bit technical. It's all abstract formulas and content that seems impossible to learn and barely manageable to memorise. The material keeps piling up and how are students supposed to truly learn anything when they're constantly missing something and falling behind?
And it's not only about the grades. Sure, students who struggle with chemistry want to pass that test and get their grades up. It's usually their only end goal and that's completely understandable. However, we've found that once students start catching up and chemistry doesn't seem like such an enormous hurdle, their self-confidence improves as well.
When they have someone to guide them, make sense of the clutter of information and demands, students tend to struggle less in other areas as well. Your child could feel less anxious about tests and their performance, learn how to tackle tough situations and become more independent, all with the help of a local Brookfield chemistry tutor.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Learning strategies are used very well, particularly talking aloud through processes at which she's taking to get to her answers, even if sometimes slightly off. A good amount of confidence is displayed and is unafraid to ask for help with understanding certain concepts.
Over the holidays, Charlotte has improved her attention to homework - in fact, I think there was only one or two instances she didn't do homework this month. It's worth noting that Charlotte's focus didn't waver appreciably over the holidays, which is quite different to the previous summer.
Aryo needs to work on his multiplication and division. I am feeling positive that the new homework and cue cards assigned for the next few weeks will see Aryo's knowledge improve greatly. Aryo picked up regrouping during subtraction very quickly and we saw great improvements in this area. I aim to reintroduce this again at a later date for repetition. One area that Aryo needs to work on is his confidence in spelling numbers in words.
My biggest accomplishment while working with EzyMath was learning how to organise myself more effectively and juggle multiple jobs at a time, which has turned out to be a very useful skill. Why I came to work for EzyMath was because I wanted to help students gain the confidence they need to complete high school and the HSC because I remember what it felt like for me at the time! I got useful skills out of the tutoring experience - soft skills and organisational skills.I would recommend EzyMath as an employer to people who are organised and dedicated because they can genuinely get a lot out of it and I would definitely recommend EzyMath to prospective students.
I joined EzyMath more than 2 years ago. The admin has always been around to help and replied to my emails promptly. I was offered a number of students, few of which I continued for 2 years. My biggest accomplishment as an EzyMath tutor was to help students grow, as well as benefit from it for my own growth. I started tutoring a student when he was starting his year 7 and tutored him till he was starting year 9. I hope that the student benefited from my guidance, but there was a lot I could learn from the session as well. Working with young children has been a tremendous benefit since they possess such vibrant energy. I came to work at EzyMath as a uni student looking for a part time work. EzyMath was professional, motivated and constantly taking feedback from the tutors and the students to enrich the tutoring experience for all. I would certainly recommend tutoring for EzyMath, for both clients and prospective tutors.
I chose to work with EzyMath because it was very flexible and I could fit it around my uni schedule. Tutoring has really helped me learn how to explain concepts effectively and also greatly improved my leadership and communication skills. Witnessing my students' gradual improvement in not only their technical skills but their confidence in the subject was extremely rewarding. I would recommend EzyMath to fellow tutors and prospective clients.
