Learning biology is cumulative. Like learning mathematics or other science subjects - it's important to understand the basics before you can tackle complex concepts.
While most students have the right idea on how to approach studying biology, they also need a little push to achieve their goals. We've found that all it takes is the right kind of guidance at the right time.
The local Brookfield biology tutors we work with are there to assist so that passing and excelling at biology doesn't seem like such a hurdle. What we look for is someone who can adjust to your child's needs, who can observe their study habits and guide them through the learning process. So what does that mean exactly?
For instance, most students know they should go over past exams and take notes. What students also sometimes do is fixate on individual questions too much and even try to memorise them. While they know what they should be doing, they might not know how to do it. This is why tutoring is invaluable.
All we need to get things started is to have a chat with you to figure out what your child needs. We organise one-on-one biology tutoring in Brookfield, at your home. There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate.
And what if you don't like the tutor? No worries, it happens from time to time and we understand that! That's why the first lesson comes as a free trial.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Thomas' score on his trigonometry test was an improvement on the previous topics he has done. While I do believe it was the easiest topic of the year, I have no doubt he would have done a fair amount of work for the score he got. What i hope to do with him for the rest of the term is to continue this confidence into the other topics.
Eleanor is really starting to take control of her learning - she can identify the topics that she struggles with and asks for very specific assistance. She still gets worried about her perceived lack of understanding occasionally, but she can now make a plan for fixing the gap in her knowledge (see Jess, talk to a friend, look it up in the text book...). I'm really impressed with how dedicated she is to improving her understanding.
No major problems besides the fact that Eugene is encouraged to keep triple checking his work and not to overthink some questions. To do this requires focusing on just the concepts relevant to the question as discussed in class.

Holly has stated that Jennifer her tutor is helping her with her Maths. She is certainly in a better frame of mind with Jennifer than when either myself or my husband had tried to help in the past. Early days yet but looking positive.
We are very happy with Kirill. In a short space of time he seems to have developed a good relationship with our sons. They feel comfortable asking for assistance in understanding concepts etc. I feel that Kirill is a good match and a great role model for them!!! It doesn't hurt that he is from NZ (like me); sporty (like my boys) and at Melbourne Uni doing engineering , which is something that I think may interest Mason!
I just wanted to say thank you, Ruhail is a very pleasant young man, and show a very professional manor approach with Tutoring Stephanie. Stephanie is also impressed and when I have questioned her how she is finding Ruhail and the Tutoring, her comments were all pleasant. She said Ruhail is very nice and explains maths in more simple terms, making her understand Maths easier. She compares Ruhail to the teacher at school and can't understand why she is left dumb-founded in the classroom yet her Tuition makes much more sense and understands the topic/task clearer. So far we are both impressed with Ruhail and his tutoring.
