Learning science is full of twists and turns. It's about making embarrassing mistakes, overcoming setbacks and chasing those exhilarating aha moments. If they want to achieve great results students need to put in the time, but they also need to learn at a quicker pace - a learning pace that might not be completely comfortable to them. Some students get to the finish line quicker and some students struggle along the way.

This is exactly when they can benefit from guided learning the most.
We work with great physics tutors in Burnside Heights who can support your child's academic progress. There's always a test or quiz around the corner and with a great tutor guiding them, students tend to feel less overwhelmed.
Tutors are also great role models. It's all about the connection they make with the student. We've found that when a tutor and a child click - that's when learning happens.
That is exactly what we look for in a tutor, someone attuned to the specific needs of your child.
All we need is to have a quick chat with you. We organise a tutor to come to your home for one-on-one tutoring, at a time that works for you and your child.
You pay a simple hourly rate. And if it happens that you are not completely happy with the tutor, we consider the first lesson a free trial. Then we keep looking for a better match.
Sounds good so far? We can start looking for a local physics tutor in Burnside Heights right away!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Over this past month Jack has improved on a number of learning strategies such as talking aloud, self checking, format skills and self questioning. However, his current method of note taking is not optimal. Jack would benefit significantly from making his own notes on each subject as opposed to filling out the teachers handouts, and I would recommend that he starts making his own notes on year 11 subjects on the next couple of weeks.
Olivia has an excellent attitude to learning and is very organised, except for the occasional case of leaving work at school but that can't always be helped and we find other things to work on so that we're still using our time together wisely.
As mentioned, Charlotte still tends to rush. I am of the opinion that finding areas where the mistakes occur most frequently, isolating them and particularly focusing on them will help to mitigate that problem.

Najib is making progress with Daniel and he feels more confident about tackling maths problems. I am sure Daniel will continue to improve under Najib's careful direction.
Before EzyMath, we had tried two different maths tutors for our son Mathew, they have been ok but not great. I approached EzyMath because Mat wasn't really connecting with the tutors that we had sourced independently. EzyMath put us in touch with Luke, a Uni student that lived close by. Luke was closer to Mat's age and related to him much better than just another adult telling him what to do. Luke was flexible and would come on different days if Mat had a test that he needed to prepare for. The other thing that I love about EzyMath is that they do the character vetting for you, it's not just some random out of the paper that says they know how to teach Math. We are thrilled with Mathew's new found confidence with this subject and would recommend EzyMath to anyone who needs a bit of extra help engaging with a subject and becoming more confident. Happy kid is a happy parent! Thank you EzyMath.
Mia is loving her tutor, she even said she wishes he could be her teacher because of how well he is explaining everything to her. Thank you!
