Learning Chemistry feels like learning a new language. It's hard in the beginning, you don't know what to look out for and even though you recognise things here and there that doesn't mean you can read a formula, let alone understand it. It's one of those subjects where it clicks or it just doesn't. Tutors we work with understand that. They've been there, they had to overcome the same hurdle and they are passionate about helping...
They've been there, they had to overcome the same hurdle and they are passionate about helping others do the same. They know the pitfalls, where to spend that extra hour and what you need to memorise before you can completely understand a concept.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Back checks work, has great working habits in regards to formatting, self questioning, attempting every question even if she believes she wrong. Always seeks understanding on the content and is never dependent on rules.
Lesley always comes to sessions with a positive and enthusiastic attitude which I'm sure is in part aided by Honey cheering up the sessions. Lesley always puts in effort and tries to complete things to the best of her ability. Lesley seems to take notes and complete the work she is given to a good standard. I think her work habits are right on track.
His main gaps in knowledge right now are algebra. We need to work on his basic algebra skills and work our way up so we can do problems quickly and accurately. His Algebra is a bit weak, which we need to work on, as it forms the basis for all the maths we do now and later. He is able to grasp the concepts we discuss wuite wuickly but is held back in solving questions because of his weak algebra skills.
Since my daughter has been tutored by Ezy Math, she has improved significantly. At the end of last year she failed the yearly test and was ranked near the bottom of her year. Now after just 3 months of tutoring , she has achieved the highest mark in her class in the half yearly exam. This has been a great boast to her confidence in addition to a great academic achievement. She knows now that she has the ability to do well in maths. Jessica is always very well prepared for all the sessions. During this time we went away on holidays and missed 3 weeks of school. Prior to leaving Jessica covered all the topics the school was doing to ensure that she did not get behind. We are extremely happy with Ezy Math Tutoring and highly recommend them.
I was just writing to let you know that I got better than the grade I hoped for, so everything turned out great! I wanted to say thank-you for all of your help. I would not have been able to do this without you. Thanks so much.
After two months our son's marks in year 10 maths went from the fourties to the seventies. I think most tutors know their maths but our tutor is a wonderful communicator and talented educator whom we wish to retain through the HSC.
