Tayte has taken quite well to some of the skills that Ezy Math typically encourages in order to improve proficiency with mathematics. Particularly, Talking Aloud, Pen to Paper, Note Taking and Self Questioning are all being developed at a good pace, despite having only introducing them at the beginning of tuition.These skills are practiced to a good standard, potentially helping when reviewing in class work.
He tends to get frustrated when he does not understand a concept, however, we always discuss the matter and find another method which works best for Jacob. He would then change his mood once he understood the new method. Most of the time he is cooperative and works well. He is a keen students and attempts everything I give him. He keeps the same workbook every week, so that everything is kept in there and he can then look back when he gets stuck.
There are still some areas that could be improved upon including how the layout of the actual working out. This is especially the case in exam scenarios where time is limited. As Izaak explained, he had issues in the exam with time management. This would require better strategies in how to tackle problems as well as better understanding of the subject itself.
Paul is very pleased with Peter's tutoring style and he feels he is making progress as he recently sat a math test and did better than previously. Paul is being better motivated by Peter and as Peter explains it , Paul feels he understands concepts better. Thank you.
