And it's not only about the grades. Sure, students who struggle with chemistry want to pass that test and get their grades up. It's usually their only end goal and that's completely understandable. However, we've found that once students start catching up and chemistry doesn't seem like such an enormous hurdle, their self-confidence improves as well.
When they have someone to guide them, make sense of the clutter of information and demands, students tend to struggle less in other areas as well. Your child could feel less anxious about tests and their performance, learn how to tackle tough situations and become more independent, all with the help of a local Claremont Meadows chemistry tutor.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Ruby is getting good at picking up mistakes that she makes in her working. Her confidence is also growing. There's much less of her instinctively saying I don't know immediately after reading a question, she'll give it a go. Her setting out of questions on the page is logical and easy to follow.
Abbie's effort, attitude and work habits are phenomenal! She has done very well to maintain her good spirits through the first three terms of year twelve, and I believe she is in a solid position as she enters the exam-revision phase of year twelve.
Archer can generally complete most problems on his own but he has to be shown how to do it at least once first. I think Archer would benefit from completing individual study as he tends to forget a lot of strategies to complete questions between tutoring lessons which makes me believe that the only time he does practice math outside of school is when I'm with him. If he does want to see large improvement in his mathematical ability he really needs to put some of his own time into it.
Tamara has been a great help on Wednesday afternoons for the homework club program. The students have responded well to her and she has a small cohort that continuously seek her help. I am sure she will continue to have a permanent and measurable impact beyond the initial motivational boost. Thank you.
Your Tutor was great and even took the time to phone Glen's teacher to discuss areas where he was having problems so he could work on it him. He was great and I would recommend him in a heart beat.
Natalie is really good and reliable. Cheryl is actually enjoying her tutor lessons with Natalie and looks forward to them. I actually was watching them for a bit during one lesson and I have to say, the way Natalie tutors is quite impressive. I have no negative feedback about her. Really appreciate your help in finding a good tutor for my sister :)
