No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Canton Beach chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Canton Beach, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
I have reviewed over Hillary's progress during our time together as tutor and student and she has accomplished some of the most important strategies such as talking aloud, pen to paper, self questioning and of course, asking questions and seeking understanding. This has been gradually improving and I have seen that Hillary does have the confidence to keep on working on these skills. I hope that she will be able to continue with such enthusiasm.
No issues regarding attitude or effort. No issues. We will need to work on getting in the habit of revising for exams ahead of time, and not leaving it to a few days prior. We will also have to go over note-taking, and being able to study and learn independently.
He needs to work on self questioning, confidence, and rule dependence. Despite a fairly good level of proficiency in topics seen so far, Liam has yet to take full confidence in his abilities. He is also dependent on formulae and will need to work on his complex problem-solving strategies if he is to achieve his best possible mark.
thanks for your note. Things appear to be going well with Andrew. He is a very polite and professional young man and he seems to get on well with Matthew.
I would like to thank you and your team for all the help with preparing Marissa for her Math exam. Gabriella was a wonderful help, I do nightly recommend her. Thank you for the time spent with her
Tutoring has gotten off to a great start thankyou. Adrian is always on time and his professional & friendly manner has encouraged Erin to have a positive response to being tutored ( she was not keen initially) Erin is enjoying her session with Adrian and I can see her willingness to work with him will increase her confidence in maths in general.
