Chemistry can seem abstract, learning about elements and matter, how equilibrium occurs and how chemical systems react. No wonder students get discouraged.
All it takes for a student to go from a mild distaste for chemistry to understanding what is scribbled in the textbook is someone to point out what to avoid and where to put in that extra hour of revision. It's like with any problem situation in schooling and even in their personal life, students need to know about using effective strategies. Then all you need is persistence, staying on task until you reach your goal.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
The strategies have been followed, especially for that of back-checking, pen-to-paper, confidence and seeking understanding. Tomi is a fairly shy child, and so we are currently working on his confidence boost and ability to find interest in mathematics. He has been more careful in his working out, and checking his steps for each question.
I always enjoy working with Amber. She is hard working and positive and prepared to put in the work necessary to get the grades she desires. She completes all assigned work and completes all school work that she can. This makes is very easy for me to identify problem areas so we can work through them so Amber can move onto and complete the harder questions.
We have been working on her timetables and general number skills these have been improving but like everything practice makes perfect. Trinity has started fractions in class and was up to the expected level before the school holidays. We will refresh fractions next lesson.
El Abed has been in touch with me directly and we have booked a session for next week. I would just like to say once again how impressed I am with your level of customer service and the efficiency with which you have handled my queries. Im addition, I would like to say the say the same about El Abed. He has responded to my queries promptly and with professionalism.
We were very happy with Raine and Emily looks forward to working with her in the future.
Nathan is punctual and enthusiastic. Xanthe likes him and was happy to do homework.
