No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Sinnamon Park chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Sinnamon Park, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a risk-free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Improved habits in putting pen to paper, was important for Jamie to just write down things that he knew to help jog his memory, but it was also important for Jamie to write down steps through his working to get all the marks that he can. Jamie was good at feeling ok to be wrong, he was very determined to improve & pass the subject so was open to giving practice exams & tutorials all his effort, even if he was confused.
Displayed positive attitude with no lazy thinking at all. Displayed significant effort in understanding the new topics for the test within limited time. Juwariah is smart, she tries to solve some mathematics problems in head and most of the times she gets it right. It would be good if she would jot them down on the paper then solve them step by step. This will rule out any chances of making mistakes.
Ben continues to struggle with the concept of equations and some serious recall issues. Ben cannot remember probability terminologies eg sample space, complement events, cannot recall the formula to calculate probability of an event and complement events learned earlier in the month. Ben was advised to be careful with calculator transcription error. Eg multiplying by 100% instead of multiplying by 100 to convert fraction to percentage.

We are very happy with Kieren. Quinn thinks it's fun and Ronan, although he's very shy, is comfortable with Kieren.
So far, we are very happy with Hamza and the work he is doing with Asha. He is always prompt, organised and has a very gentle and patient manner of teaching which Asha appreciates.
We have been very pleased with the approach Darrell has used with our daughter. He has been very personable and works at developing a relationship with our daughter while teaching her. She has responded well and feels more confident with her maths skills. She received positive feedback from her teacher after only two sessions with Darrell and she is confidently waiting for the results of her test. Darrell has always been polite, on time and communicates well with us. We appreciate his support.
