Does your child need help with physics?
Maybe they need an extra push to reach that grade or they want to go from keeping up to excelling at science. Whatever the reason, we can match you with the right local Cheltenham physics tutors who understand your child's needs and knows how to get them where they want to be.
Most students start out interested in physics and perform fairly well on tests. But once the concepts become more and more complex most parents notice a change. It's when students start believing they don't "have what it takes" and their self-confidence starts to plummet.
Parents usually try to intervene, remind their child that geniuses are not born, that they work hard and face obstacles like anyone else, and for some students, that's enough. Others, however, need more support.
That's where we step in!
We find tutors and organise one-on-one physics tutoring in Cheltenham, at your home or any other place that works for you. We work around your schedule.
When it comes to payment we like to keep it simple. You pay a simple hourly rate, no extra or hidden fees.
And what if, for whatever reason, the perfect match doesn't happen on the first try? That's completely fine, it happens!
In case you are not completely happy with the first lesson, it comes as a free trial. We simply keep looking for another tutor, someone better suited to help your child.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
MJ is making sound progress in terms of utilizing basic strategies to improve his work. However, he needs to improve lazy thinking and avoid rule dependence. He needs to be able to think critically and understand what the question is asking and what methods he should apply to achieve this rather than relying constantly on previous work.
Will's determination and enthusiasm towards maths is improving as he constantly seeks understanding and has been following my advice and applying it. He is becoming faster at learning and seems to be more eager to do questions once he understands how to do them. He does his homework and is more aware of small errors he has made.
The biggest gap with Mary is theory. She starts at harder exercises without actually understanding the theory/terminology or being able to explain using correct mathematical terms. As an example Mary could describe what the picture of concurrent looked like and describe how a plane was drawn, but couldn't tell me what they actually were. We are working on how we study to ensure that we address this so this is improved moving forward.
Lia is really enthusiastic about the help that Jennifer is providing which as a mother is very exciting and comforting.
Georgia is happy with Kelvin. She is very shy and so it is great that she feels comfortable with him.
Everything is going well with Dexter. Jordana gets on really well with her, and finds Dexter explains things very clearly, and has been a great help already with her understanding of Maths.
