Year 11 and 12 Chemistry can be intimidating. Students need to learn heaps of content, be able to recognize reactions and analyse chemical systems. The number of concepts students need to master is overwhelming, and the workload only adds up as they move up the curriculum. If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.

If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.
Tutors we work with know that. They've been there. Being approached by a mentor rather than a teacher makes it easier for students to develop an appreciation for chemistry. That's what it comes down to - someone making sure your child doesn't give up.
For some students it's just passing a test, for others it's getting through SACE with flying colours, maybe even preparing for a career in STEM. Whatever the goal, we are there to support your child through it all.
So what's the next step?
Give us a call and we will organise a chemistry tutor in Cherry Gardens to come to your home for one-on-one tutoring, at a time that works for you and your child.
We allocate local Cherry Gardens chemistry tutors so scheduling is never an issue. Changed your mind or need to postpone the lesson? No worries, there are no cancellation costs.
On top of that, the first lesson is a trial so if you don't like the tutor we'll find someone else who is better suited.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Annalise keeps her work neat and structured which will help when she goes over her notes later on in the year. Whenever she encounters an issue with a question it would be helpful if she deconstructed the question and went through it slowly and carefully
Great attitude and effort especially within the sessions, homework is being done, notes are being taken. Student misses school on a frequent basis but seems to make an effort to catch up when he misses out on class.
While Joshua is very capable of doing the calculations in a problem, he can struggle with the conceptual understanding of the questions (for example, understanding that "a translation by 4 units in the positive-y direction" means "move the graph vertically by 4").
Reagan has been a wonderful help thus far thank you. Reagan has been very patient with Serenity-Mae and that's what she needs at the moment...she seems to have forgotten a lot of the basics, so Reagan has been taking her through these areas again which is wonderful.
I'm delighted with how Natasha has started. And Ella really likes her too. I'm very grateful to you for sorting her out for us.
So far so good with Stephen ... Charlie has really taken to him and we are very happy with him and the work he has done so far.
