Learning Chemistry feels like learning a new language. It's hard in the beginning, you don't know what to look out for and even though you recognise things here and there that doesn't mean you can read a formula, let alone understand it. It's one of those subjects where it clicks or it just doesn't. Tutors we work with understand that. They've been there, they had to overcome the same hurdle and they are passionate about helping...
Learning Chemistry feels like learning a new language. Tutors we work with understand that. They've been there, they had to overcome the same hurdle and they are passionate about helping others do the same. They know the pitfalls, where to spend that extra hour and what you need to memorise before you can completely understand a concept.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Isabella has maintained her confidence with the fundamental skills relating to addition, place value, money and basic multiplication problems. While talking aloud, pen to paper and formatting skills are continuing to develop, back checking and self questioning require some additional attention.
I have noticed that, during this exam period, Finn has a tendency to focus on his most immediate tasks or exams which may leave him insufficient time to prepare for subsequent exams. It would be a good idea to remind him that it is better to do a little bit of study each day, rather than trying to do it all at once.
I think Eliza has been picking up most of the content well and after doing a few questions together she can usually do the questions herself. I think the last topic was slightly rushed however and she said something was in the test that she didn't even cover in class, so we might need to look back over that.
We have been very happy with Ameya , he has been well prepared, punctual and very committed to his work with Emma... I would happily recommend both Ezy Math tutoring and Ameya to people.
Shannon is delighted with Daniel and I can already see measurable results. She appears more confident. We are more than happy to continue with him. I just need to work out which plan to choose. When do I need to decide this?
Jason is a very nice young man who is always prompt and seems well prepared for each lesson. Charles enjoys his tutoring so far and seems to be gaining a little more confidence.
