The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Majority of the past month has been spent working on Liam's physics project. This project has helped re-affirm the importance of understanding concepts rather than rules. As a result of this, Liam has been forced to avoid lazy thinking.
- She has a good attitude towards learning new things - Very quick learner, remembers concepts from previous lessons without any difficulty - Consistently revises old and new concepts - Learns from past mistakes
Sam is doing well when it comes to simple +-x/ calculations such as 3x7 or (4+2)x8. However, when I put it into harder format such as fractions with these numbers or larger numbers, he still capable of doing it but with more little mistakes. This problem can only be fixed by one way, that is, practice more and more questions till his brain can work out 21 straight away when he sees 3x7 or 121 when he sees 11x11.
Vibhuti has been good so far, very nice and punctual. My daughter seems to get along with her well and I imagine they will get more productive as the time passes.
So far, so good with Jie tutoring Charlie. Jie is professional, organised, and has warm and friendly nature.
We are extremely happy with our daughters tutor Martha - as is our daughter. Martha is always on time, friendly but professional. Martha is definitely helping with confidence issues & strategies for exam technique.
