What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy helping students fall back in love with learning, so often I find that the root of the problem for students in a subject is their confidence. There is a variety of ways that a student could have had their confidence diminished in a particular subject, but tutoring allows for that confidence to be restored on a one-to-one basis.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My principal strength in tutoring is my ability to build a rapport with the student, this allows them to be open and honest about their struggles with the subject and allows me to provide insightful feedback to their particular difficulties. Additionally, I have strong subject knowledge which allows me to pick apart problems in multiple ways, this means that I can find approaches for students that are best suited to them.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
It all comes back to confidence for me, when a student is confident in a subject again it can then translate into other areas of academia and even life. I firmly believe all students are capable of extraordinary feats and the support I show for my students allows for them to start believing that as well.
