We've found that students often need both help with the content and guidance with study strategies in general. High school biology gives students a glimpse of a vast interconnected universe of life on Earth. It can be quite exciting, and in most cases, it's why students choose the subject in the first place. However, as tasks start to pile up, students tend to get overwhelmed.
With so much on their plate, they tend to fall back on simple, but also extremely limited study strategies. It might seem like a no-brainer - memorisation won't take you far, but that's exactly what students fall back on when they get lost.
When that happens, finding someone to guide them can make or break the school year, and that's exactly where we can help.
What we do is match you with a biology tutor in Henley Brook within a day or two. All we need to get things started is to have a chat with you.
We figure out what kind of support your child needs and organise a one-on-one lesson at your home. There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate, and the first lesson comes with a money-back guarantee.
We can start looking for the right biology tutor right now.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Isabella is great at back checking and self-questioning. She understands that it is okay to be wrong and inportant to learn from it. She seeks understanding and I believe this is helping her to improve a lot.
Taine is a keen learner who seeks understanding through questioning. However, he sometimes lacks confidence in his ability to complete seemingly harder questions. He should attempt more harder questions before our lessons so we can speed up his learning. Taine's good effort is shown during lessons and in his homework completion. Taine is self-motivated in completing his homework even though his school teacher does not check it.
There are some smaller skills that need improvement such as understanding that 2 times 6 is 6 +6 but I think that workbook is slowly addressing some of these issues. In the broader scope I think she needs more work on her basic times tables but they are a challenge for every child and it will just take time.
Thanks Erica, Jemma & Hunter get along very well I'm pleased to report. I've observed that Jemma has that natural communication talent that all gr8 teachers have i.e. they engage you with their knowledge.
No news is good news - we are very happy with Eddie! Thankyou for following up but all is great from our perspective. Thanks again
Yes Jamie seems happy with Daniel's tuition and did well in his maths test following Daniels first tuition session.
