The value in a one-on-one private English tutor is that they can focus entirely on your child and organise lessons around their specific goals and challenges. With the right support mechanisms every student can succeed. And ... that success is often life-changing for students, it serves as undeniable proof that if they apply themselves they can achieve success where they previously failed. It's just about the best lesson a young person can learn.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Jerry's notes and formatting have improved, his working is more organised and he's been practising drawing diagrams. To help with working organised, I recommend using scrap paper to jot anything he wishes down, and then to write the clearly structured answer. We continue to spend most of our time discussing the physics theory, not the maths, so I can't comment on back checking or rule dependence.
Francesco appears to have been focusing on other subjects at school, so his effort towards maths has fallen behind slightly. It will be beneficial if he attempts more problems from school along with extra material I give him for homework.
-few gaps with linear equations, to do with extension of line segments midpoints etc -gaps in basic algebra, although picks up and remembers quickly -struggles sometimes with negative numbers (improving) -struggles with application (but so do most year 10 students)

Rishi is great guy and working well with our son James. We realise it is early days but James is already more confident with his approach towards maths. Thanks for checking in with us. It is appreciated.
Anusheel been tutoring Ramin for a few sessions now and as you said it will take a few months to notice. However, so far Ramin is happy. He is having his year 11 final exam this week and Anusheel is doing a good Job, thank you.
Hello Erica, Thanks for touching base. Isabella is great. She's gelled really nicely with Meg, who is already saying that for the first time she understands why things are done a certain way, rather than just being told to do it. I'll let you know if any issues arise but at this point I can't see any at this stage. Cheers
