We've found that students often need both help with the content and guidance with study strategies in general. High school biology gives students a glimpse of a vast interconnected universe of life on Earth. It can be quite exciting, and in most cases, it's why students choose the subject in the first place. However, as tasks start to pile up, students tend to get overwhelmed.
With so much on their plate, they tend to fall back on simple, but also extremely limited study strategies. It might seem like a no-brainer - memorisation won't take you far, but that's exactly what students fall back on when they get lost.
When that happens, finding someone to guide them can make or break the school year, and that's exactly where we can help.
What we do is match you with a biology tutor in Newtown within a day or two. All we need to get things started is to have a chat with you.
We figure out what kind of support your child needs and organise a one-on-one lesson at your home. There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate, and the first lesson comes with a money-back guarantee.
We can start looking for the right biology tutor right now.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Imogen has a lovely attitude and is infectiously optimistic and happy. she is improving her habits with talking through the problem aloud enabling a better understanding with her thoughts and understanding.
I think Maddi's effort during the lessons is great, however her homework completion rate is quite low. My suggestion is to make a habit of doing a little bit of maths every day, so that the workload does not overwhelm at the last minute. This should improve her overall skill level in the long run.
Area problems involving composite shapes seem to be an issue, however it is just a matter of learning how to break the shapes into their smaller components and solve the problem from there. I have already seen some improvement in this after going back and doing problems he initially struggled with a lot. Some extra factorising practice is needed, however this is because it is the most recent topic and I will help him with it when I see him next

Thanks Erica, Jemma & Hunter get along very well I'm pleased to report. I've observed that Jemma has that natural communication talent that all gr8 teachers have i.e. they engage you with their knowledge.
No news is good news - we are very happy with Eddie! Thankyou for following up but all is great from our perspective. Thanks again
Yes Jamie seems happy with Daniel's tuition and did well in his maths test following Daniels first tuition session.
