Learning biology is cumulative. Like learning mathematics or other science subjects - it's important to understand the basics before you can tackle complex concepts.
While most students have the right idea on how to approach studying biology, they also need a little push to achieve their goals. We've found that all it takes is the right kind of guidance at the right time.
The local Alexandria biology tutors we work with are there to assist so that passing and excelling at biology doesn't seem like such a hurdle. What we look for is someone who can adjust to your child's needs, who can observe their study habits and guide them through the learning process. So what does that mean exactly?
For instance, most students know they should go over past exams and take notes. What students also sometimes do is fixate on individual questions too much and even try to memorise them. While they know what they should be doing, they might not know how to do it. This is why tutoring is invaluable.
All we need to get things started is to have a chat with you to figure out what your child needs. We organise one-on-one biology tutoring in Alexandria, at your home. There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate.
And what if you don't like the tutor? No worries, it happens from time to time and we understand that! That's why the first lesson comes as a free trial.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Hillary is doing well in self questioning and sometimes asking questions when she does not understand, however, she can be hesitant to speak aloud and show her thinking. I would also recommend that she takes the initiative to jot down more notes (using pen and paper) during the lesson, and I am working on encouraging her in that aspect.
He is very eager to understand the content and always cheerful during lessons. He puts in effort to complete his homework and answer questions during tutorials. He will occasionally do extra reading on topics we discussed in the lesson Mostly does homework, neat book, date, title etc
* I have suggested to Jem that he try to practice at least 1-2 questions/exercises each day whenever possible to keep the concepts fresh in his mind, as I have observed that we often need to revise topics at start of session, but after 1-2 exercises Jem is much more confident and remembers the rules/formulas/steps to approach the problem.
that Harry would get to the stage where he could do it on his own. I have been very impressed with the results he has been getting and they have far exceeded my expectations so the tutoring has been an outstanding success. I don't want to finish it though just put it on hold while we work on physics for a term. I hope that is ok with you and David.
We have been impressed by Callum's diligent approach to helping Georgina, his wit and time flexibility have made things as easy as possible for her. With warm regards.
Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how happy we have been with Sigrid who has now had 4 sessions with our son, Andreas. She is a very caring and enthusiastic young lady who, over a short period of time, has built a lovely rapport with Andreas. In turn, Andreas feels very comfortable with her and looks forward to the sessions. Sigrid's competence and the commitment she displays are commendable and have resulted in a noticeable improvement in Andreas's confidence and his motivation towards maths. Many thanks for sending her our way.
