What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I like presenting as non intimidating so the person I am helping can see that the work they might have believed they did not have access to seems more possible. I like working out people and finding a way that I can help them.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have been in the students shoes. I understand what it is like to need a tutor as I hired one when I first delved into statistics for psychology. So I have some understanding of what a student would want from me and can prepare. I am also friendly and non judgemental. We are all at different stages, we go at different paces and have different ways of picking things up. I have a background in philosophy and psychology and I think that could be good in perhaps inspiring or giving comfort.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Have things prepared, remember where I left off with a student, being patient and altering my technique according to their style of learning and progress. Obviously building a rapport with the student and making them feel secure in their learning.
