Chemistry can seem abstract, learning about elements and matter, how equilibrium occurs and how chemical systems react. No wonder students get discouraged.
All it takes for a student to go from a mild distaste for chemistry to understanding what is scribbled in the textbook is someone to point out what to avoid and where to put in that extra hour of revision. It's like with any problem situation in schooling and even in their personal life, students need to know about using effective strategies. Then all you need is persistence, staying on task until you reach your goal.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
I taught Sarah pen to paper and back checking today (05/11/18) and she seemed to understand more than she did before the lesson Tonight (12/11/18) Sarah was struggling with rates and ratios and so I spent all the time going through how to do them.
Mia has always had an enthusiastic and positive attitude towards and during our lessons. I have certainly noticed that Mia is prioritising her school work. She wants to learn and do well and Mia is putting in greater effort at school to ensure this. Although it is still early days, Mia has begun to find a balance in her schedule which affords her the appropriate amount of time to complete her homework. Mia's concentration has also improved.
She still needs to understand that note making is a fruitful strategy and must start doing so. She doesn't remember the basics from previous years so we'll have to work on that basics of maths from previous years

Tutoring with Robert is going extremely well. Robert has an excellent way of explaining concepts and Tara and Ethan are already feeling more confident with their maths.
Nina was very happy with her tutor, and her marks in maths have shown good improvement. We have been happy with Ezymaths as well.
We are so happy with Sarah. She is extremely professional and very well organised. She is also very thorough with her lessons and her method of teaching. Chantal really enjoys the hour she has with Sarah and Chantal has already gained confidence and is enjoying maths once again due to Sarah's positive and constructive feedback. Sarah is an asset to Ezymath Tutoring.
