What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts and seeing the satisfaction on their face when they figure out a hard problem. Tutoring, explaining a problem step by step, also helps me to further deeply understand the concept. I have good communication skills which will be helpful in many situations, including tutoring. I am first a listener though, which would allow the student to explain their difficulty, and I can respond adequately. About Evie
Year 12
Last year, I completed Year 12 at Mitcham Girls High School. I did Stage 2 Maths Methods, Specialist Maths, Chemistry, Nutrition and French. I did well, particularly in Methods and Chemistry. It was a very busy time, taking on one more subject than most people did, and held two leadership positions (Sports House Captain and School Captain).
University
Currently, I am studying in my second semester of my first year of a Bachelor of Mathematics (Honours). I am really enjoying it so far.
