One of the most important things a tutor can do is be patient and supportive. Different people learn different things in different ways, and at different rates. A tutor must cater for that, and not skip over important things that students have not yet understood. A tutor must use the method of explaining/teaching that students will understand. I…

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to constantly support and encourage students during their schooling efforts. Moreover, to not answer everything for the student so that they can truly understand a concept and help when they are struggling. I am a hard working individual and am also quite strict and would maintain a strong…

It is important for a tutor to assist the student with the problems they have so that they can learn how to do them and can then complete the problems without the tutors assistance. only then, when the student is confident enough to work independently of the tutor, has the tutor succeeded with properly assisting the student My strengths are in my…

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is give them the confidence they need to sit an exam and believe that they have the skills required to answer the questions in front of them. I have had a number of students come to me with issues relating to this, along the lines of 'I just had no idea what to do.' I aim to equip my students…

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is help them understand the concepts being taught. The right answer for a particular question isn't as important as getting the fundamentals right so they can be applied in all circumstances. My strengths would include: I truly understand what I'm trying to teach them and in turn I can explain…

I believe that a tutor needs to communicate with the student about their needs. I think that if the student and the tutor communicate well and both parties understand each other, then it will help the student tremendously. They will be willing to ask questions and participate during the lesson. I am an approachable person. I feel like my passion…

I think the most important thing a tutor can provide a student is patience. The most important elements that a tutor can to do a student is to instil confidence by demonstrating positivity and encouragement.
