Unfortunately not every school teacher is a good match for every student. It's truly incredible the way in which one explanation creates that "aha" moment whereas another creates confusion. Our service is all about finding you the "right" tutor, not the "best" tutor. A local Point Piper English tutor will not only connect well with your child but they will be able to offer explanations in such a manner that your child just "gets it". This is what we do.
Our offer is quite simple. We will find you an English tutor in Point Piper. They will come to your home at a time of your choosing. They will come as often or as little as you decide. They will tailor the lessons to your child's specific needs. Best of all, if you think the tutor is not the "right" fit, we'll organise another tutor free of charge.
We want you to be a raving fan of your tutor. That's our Good-Fit guarantee.
The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Jack works well when he is pointed in the right direction, but needs to learn to guide himself through questions. He has the capabilities to work through them, but struggle to focus and find his own way without guidance.
Good attitude towards work and problems Tries hard based on homework set by school and ideas of when to complete practice tests. Does work consistently set by school, and has own goals of when to complete work by, overall, a good work habit.
Harry has a few gap areas that need to be addressed including coordinate geometry and exam techniques. Otherwise Harry's knowledge base has grown immensely. Harry still struggles a little bit with negative numbers and knowing exactly which formula to apply for specific situations. However, both of these areas have improved significantly since his tutoring began.
I just wanted to thank the EzyMath team. Jayesh has done an incredible job in tutoring Shona, her marks have gone from a fail to the mid 80s but not just that, its her understanding of the core concepts that has improved dramatically. Shona is at a point now where she is prepared for her HSC, she has a study schedule in place and feels confident about the syllabus.
Taksheel has had his first lesson with Ben last week and it was quite helpful. Ben was well able to engage him and we felt continuing the lessons for an hour each week would be the best way forward for now.
I am very happy so far with Joseph who has started teaching Thomas. He is keen to work with him and seems to be enjoying their sessions
