What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Over my time as a secondary college student, I attended a range of different tutoring centers. In these centers I witnessed many students achieving the "aha" moment whilst learning a complex concept. This is a significant contributing factor for my motivation to tutor, as I want more students to achieve these moments. Additionally, I am genuinely passionate about the education of future generations and am eager to instill a passion for learning in students. I believe that a genuine love for studying is contagious and can inspire students to excel.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Throughout my schooling life I obtained 7 different leadership positions such as School Sports Captain, Principles Advisory Group and more, within which I voluntarily coached younger year levels, assisted the Principal in developing a new school learning model and much more. These experiences equipped me with the skills necessary to engage with students and work efficiently to develop tailored strategies to help students succeed, whilst helping me to develop strong communication skills that allow me to convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the key purpose of a tutor is not only to improve a students grades but also encourage intellectual curiosity. Due to the individuality of each student a personalised experience must be created by tutors, through adapting teaching methods and lesson plans, to stimulate the unique minds of students. Further tutors must recognize the importance of patience in the learning process and provide necessary support to students to overcome difficulties . In addition tutors must also encourage an open and collaborative learning environment where students feel comfortable seeking clarification.
