What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

One aspect I deeply enjoy about tutoring/coaching is that it is a platform for continuous learning and growth, both for myself and my students/mentees. I love witnessing the "aha" moment when a concept clicks for a student, and watching them grow not only academically but also personally. Meanwhile, as I help students overcome obstacles and master complex concepts, I find myself constantly expanding my own knowledge and improving my communication skills.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a tutor, I prioritize a student-centred approach. I'll try to understand individual students' needs and aspirations, thereby finding a way to engage them in the learning process actively. This is a skill that I have honed through mentoring numerous students applying for scholarships. Besides, I have great organizational skills, developed from my experience simultaneously studying and excelling in all 13 subjects as part of my high school curriculum. This will help me effectively plan and structure lessons according to each student's specific goals and objectives.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe there are two immensely important things a tutor can do for a student. The first one is developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, so that a student can confidently solve problems that they haven't encountered before or when no one is there to guide them. And the second one is fostering a positive learning environment, where students feel safe to ask questions and express themselves freely, hence not being afraid to make mistakes.
