What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The aspect I enjoy immensely about tutoring is the satisfaction tutors gain in fulfilling their duties in making students grasp challenging academic content. It feels rewarding to witness firsthand a student’s progress in their academics & personality. I love how tutoring provides scope for creativity. One is tailoring explanations in diverse ways to make them easily understandable to every student’s learning style. Additionally, tutoring will permit me to be a supportive source of encouragement to students, ensuring a positive learning experience.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that my strengths as a tutor encompass patience, empathy, creativity, and clear communication. During my academic and professional journey, I have experienced situations testing my creative & soft skills and helping me exponentially in tackling life situations successfully. Some examples include the time wherein my communication & creative skills were honed while dealing with extremely difficult clients as a designer in the architect’s office and the empathy I developed in mentoring my younger peers as a student council member in my undergraduate program.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Tutors must provide their students include the following: Making the academic content relevant, engaging, and relatable to real-life situations, enabling students to comprehend various concepts that will register in their understanding. Providing scope of creativity for students to understand academics and assignments in ways they are comfortable with, developing their interest simultaneously. Building strong relationships with students to understand them better as individuals rather than viewing them as a group, thereby ensuring a positive, calm, secure, and encouraging learning environment.
