What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I get to do what I enjoy AND get paid for it?!
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor would be my subject knowledge, communication skills and adaptability. Although I am proficient in Physics and computer languages like C and Python, my specialty when tutoring is Maths. Given that I’m currently studying maths (Calculus II) and have been studying maths up until this point, my memory and maths ability is fresh and sharp. Subject knowledge is one thing, but without communication skills and suddenly it doesn’t matter what you know. Thankfully, I grew up in a well adjusted family allowing the growth of my communications skills alongside work experience
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing to consider as a tutor is adapting to the student’s needs. Every student learns differently, so a great tutor identifies their strengths, weaknesses, and preferred learning style, then adjusts their approach accordingly.
