What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy the most about tutoring is seeing the moment when a student finally understands something they've been struggling with, it is a rewarding experience. Being able to break down a concept in a way that " clicks" for the students not only to help them academically but also to a level they can explain it to other students. I also enjoy building connections with students over time, understanding how they learn best, and tailoring my approach to support their growth. Tutoring allows me to make a meaningful impact, while also deepening my own understanding of the subject.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, my key strengths lie in my ability to adapt to the students learning methods, fluent communication, and strong academic background. I am pursuing a double degree in Engineering and Computer science providing me with a strong foundation in Mathematics and logical thinking. Furthermore, I have hands-on tutoring experience through roles with Alchemy Tuition and Cluey Learning, where I have taught students from primary school to Year 12.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things a tutor can do for a student are to build confidence, foster understanding, and encourage independent learning. A great tutor doesn't just help a student to get the correct answers - they help the student understand why the answer is correct. By breaking down complex concepts into simpler steps and adapting to the student's learning style, a tutor can make learning less overwhelming and more engaging.
