What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy helping others as it gives me a sense of satisfaction, not only as my help benefits others, but also because doing so makes me feel like I've accomplished something. Coming from a place where I wasn't as confident in my studies, I am familiar with the value of great tutoring in it's ability to help others, much like it helped myself.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that I am a strong explainer; I am confident in my ability to explain concepts regarding maths and physics in ways which nearly all age demographics can understand, whether it be through visual imagery, analogies, or simply slowing it down.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to prioritise understanding; simply memorising concepts may suffice, however I believe properly understanding the subject of inquiry is most beneficial as it allows students to fully comprehend and link concepts together, boosting their performance, rather than just knowing what to do rather why is it that we do it. Additionally, patience is a virtue all tutors should have; as everyone has different levels of understanding, it is important that tutors remain patient to ensure their students get the help that they deserve.
