What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy meeting new people. When I discover what they are having difficulties with, I find a way of explaining in words they understand. I love the look on people's faces when they succeed in something they thought they could not achieve. That makes the journey all worthwhile.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strength comes during my experience of assisting my university colleagues, then fellow work colleagues and then four children, each with their own learning style, work through difficult issues - both practical and written - to end up with a solution or many solutions to the issues faced.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Be empathetic as well as listen slowly and carefully to the reason people are having one or a few issues. Then repeat the issues back to them so they know where the hiccup lies. Allow the person to reach the solution themselves will mean they understand the topic in depth and now have the empowerment to tackle the next issue with more confidence.
