What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love helping people. Maths is something I find so interesting and I love talking about it and sharing information about it. I have had some experience helping family and friends and it's just such a fulfilling experience helping people and I find it so enjoyable.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I had very good academic results throughout school and currently in university. I know what it's like to be confused or uninterested in some areas of maths. I used to get frustrated learning some topics thinking there is no real world application. I had some teachers who would show me how it is used in the real world and it made all the difference so I think one of my big strengths is being able to relate to who I'm teaching and make the topic interesting towards them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Obviously the first things I would say would be making sure they are in a safe environment and are able to ask questions and not be afraid to make a mistake. But beyond the obvious things that are critical I would say keeping a student interested in what they want to learn. It's one thing just giving someone information but it's another thing to make a student interested and wanting to find the information. So I believe the most important thing is making a student find a passion and interest in what they are learning and that would be my main goal.
