What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I find helping young students towards their goal in a mentally steady manner incredibly rewarding. Throughout my high school career, I've been blessed to not have many problems with stress and panic. I've seen peers in cohorts above and below me stress and cram for exams, and usually perform badly. I find that sharing my experience with others and educating them in their gaps usually prevents such from happening.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my strength in tutoring is not limited to just education. Unlike the many tutoring experiences I've had, I value measurable and quantifiable progress. This means throughout the teaching process, I track student progress in content knowledge, exam performance and overall confidence in subject matter to deduce the exact areas that need attention and revision. This allows me to tailor the learning experience for students, eventuating in results.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The benefit that distinguishes a tutor from a classroom teacher is how a tutor is able to tailor the learning experience such that each student is best fitted according to how they learn. This means the tutor adjusts to the student's pace, learning style, and knowledge gaps. Thus the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to properly track and teach content in a manner that aligns best with individual student interests.
