What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
Through volunteering and participating in leadership opportunities, as well as being College Vice Captain at my high school, I was able to build my communication skills, which are key to academic learning and to getting to know people. I have always been interested in helping others, often giving my notes to students and discussing topics with those who needed support. I believe I will be a great tutor, as I am ready to challenge and improve myself, and to learn about different learning styles in order to cater to individual needs.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
I am a high-achieving university student and bilingual EnglishโJapanese speaker with a 93.10 ATAR, Dux in 5 subjects (English, Japanese, Ancient History, History Revolution, Art Making and Exhibiting), and a study score of Raw 44 in Japanese. I am passionate about education, mentoring, and helping students build confidence and academic success. As I am a experienced leader as a College Vice Captain with strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills, I am well-suited to tutoring primary and secondary students.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
To be ready to challenge and improve yourself, and to learn about different learning styles in order to cater to individual needs. I can use the interpersonal skills I learned as an active member of the leadership community, along with the curiosity and dedication I have developed through my love of academics, to be a great tutor.
