What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I meet many students and understand their perspectives about studying, which is interesting. Moreover, I love to explain complex concepts into manageable chunks as I used to be in the position where I didn't even understand Pythagoras theorem because my teacher is just make it so complicated.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I would say my communication and problem-solving skills. I believe there are no "bad" students; we don't understand their worlds and thoughts. So, I would do something to understand them more, which is to communicate effectively. Moreover, I have experienced cases where students don't like studying and cause a little mess, so my problem-solving skills would work here. I would try to de-escalate the situation and follow the regulations.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Providing personalised guidance tailored to the student's learning style and needs, fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment, offering constructive feedback, and helping the student develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Additionally, effective communication, patience, and a genuine passion for teaching are key qualities that contribute to a tutor's effectiveness in helping students succeed academically.
