What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Every student is unique and tutoring allows me to tailor instructions according to the students learning style. As much as i appreciate classroom learning, seeing a student personally move from confusion to confidence is incredibly satisfying. It is rewarding when students genuinely grasp a clear understanding of the concept against the confusion and incomplete knowledge. Beyond academics, i deeply value building personal connections and helping students overcome self-doubt.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Patience & conceptual clarity. I have informally tutored friends and kids in my family before. I have been told that I break the topics into smaller steps and use relatable examples to make the subject easier to understand. I don't get frustrated if someone doesn't the subject immediately instead i try to understand why that particular idea seems difficult to them and use a different approach to provide clarity, Personally, i have noticed my strengths are building strong conceptual foundations which help students gain long-term clarity on the subject and relate it with other subjects too.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is build strong conceptual understanding,. When students understand fundamentals, they become more confident and independent to face any level of problems on their own. Beyond that, as a tutor one should provide a safe and encouraging learning environment. Students struggle not because they lack ability, but rather because they are afraid to ask questions or feel knowledge gap. Since the goal is long-term improvement, a tutor should help the student develop confidence, bridge gap and train thinking.
