I enjoy trying different way to explain and teach a concept especially with children as different methods work for them.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

Patience Clear explanations Practicing difficult concepts

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I think the way a tutor explains a concept should be unique but clear so that challenging concepts are simplified for the student. Also, tutoring lessons should be very engaging so that the student enjoys them. The student should feel comfortable to ask questions and engage with the content.

About Aram

High-achieving maths tutor who understands the school system

Aram is a high-achieving recent school graduate who knows exactly what is expected in today’s Maths curriculum. She completed Year 12 with an ATAR above 95 and strong results in both Mathematical Methods and General Maths, so she can clearly explain the concepts and exam-style questions students find hardest. As a current pharmacy student, she uses maths and problem solving every day and brings this practical mindset into her tutoring to help students see the β€œwhy”, not just the β€œhow”.

One-to-one support tailored to each student

Through her private tutoring, Aram focuses on breaking down tricky ideas into simple, manageable steps, then building confidence with lots of guided practice. She draws on her strong communication skills to quickly identify where a student is getting stuck and adjusts her explanations on the spot. Parents can expect structured sessions that revisit school topics, go through homework, and finish with targeted revision so students walk away feeling prepared rather than overwhelmed.

Patient, organised and easy to relate to

Aram’s background in customer-facing roles has strengthened her patience, active listening and ability to stay calm under pressure – qualities she brings into every lesson. Being close in age to high school students, she is easy for them to relate to and creates a comfortable space where they are not afraid to ask questions. She is well organised, keeps track of progress, and uses simple checklists and practice questions to help students steadily improve their marks and confidence in maths.
