What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
The most I enjoy about tutoring is that I get to help students understand concepts that may seem hard for them at first. There is nothing as pleasing as a student going from a puzzled look to a look of realization, where they say, โI get it now.รขโฌ I enjoy helping students understand complex concepts by breaking them down into simpler concepts and trying different ways of explaining them so that they make sense.
I also enjoy the interaction and learning environment that is created during tutoring. I get to help students, and it is a very rewarding experience for me.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
I have a strong science background and experience in teaching science to students who are preparing for their 10th board exams. One of the most important skills that I consider as an advantage for being an effective tutor is my ability to explain the concepts in a way that the students can easily understand. I am also quite composed and patient, which helps in creating an environment that is conducive for the students to ask questions. I am also flexible and can adapt according to the timings of the students.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
I think that a tutor should impart discipline and study habits in students. While I was tutoring, I encouraged students to be consistent and structured in their learning. I got positive feedback on imparting discipline.
I also think that tutors should ensure that students are able to think and analyze problems on their own. I, instead of giving answers, let students think and analyze problems on their own.

About Garima
High-Achieving Science Student with Strong Academic Foundations
Garima is a top-performing science student, consistently scoring above 90% throughout school and university. Her background in biotechnology means she is comfortable breaking down complex scientific and mathematical ideas into clear, step-by-step explanations for younger students. She is used to working with data, graphs and problem-solving, which translates well into helping students with Maths and Science topics in a logical way. This tutor brings both strong subject knowledge and the patience to explain concepts from the ground up.
Experienced in Explaining Complex Ideas Clearly
Through her research projects, Garima has designed and carried out multi-step experiments and then turned the results into clear written reports and presentations. She regularly interprets graphs, formulas and scientific texts, so she understands where students often get stuck and how to simplify these areas. Having written review articles on detailed scientific topics, she is skilled at turning difficult material into simple, structured explanations, which is exactly what many school students need in Maths and Science.
Organised, Approachable and Motivating Role Model
Beyond academics, Garima has held leadership roles such as cultural secretary and treasurer for student clubs, where she managed events, schedules and teams. This experience has sharpened her organisation and communication skills, helping her run calm, well-structured tutoring sessions.
