What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I particularly enjoy the extrinsic satisfaction of watching the students grow, whether that is in terms of grades or even just their self-confidence. It is rewarding to see children of all ages develop into their best selves; having a hand in this process is extremely gratifying.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am able to explain various concepts in different ways depending on how the student learns best. Versatility and adaptability are skills that I enjoy fostering and using to help students. I am also calm and patient, which is essential to cultivating a guiding presence for the students. Having trust in your mentor is key to allowing all students the opportunities to prove themselves.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Providing a manageable schedule - both related to time and educational milestones - that fills the student with confidence and motivation.

About Alisha Elle

Hobbies

I used to be a competitive swimmer, however now I do it for leisure and remaining active. From time-to-time, I also enjoy rock climbing - I am looking for a place to continue this passion near Clayton.

Education

I completed a British Curriculum at high-school, therefore I did GCSE's and A-Level's. At GCSE I got all 9's in: Mathematics, Further Mathematics, English Literature, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Business, Psychology and History. At A-Levels I got: an A* in Mathematics, A* in History and an A in English Literature.

University

I am currently a first year Law student at Monash University, doing a second degree in Politics/Philosophy/Economics. Coming to the end of my first semester, I particularly enjoy the freedom granted at a university level, giving me more independence to pursue other interests - such as tutoring.
